Evans, who has toured worldwide with the Quartet for over 40 years, has recorded more than 100 works released on over 50 different albums. A cum laude graduate of Yale University and Fulbright Scholar in London, he studied with Szymon Goldberg and Nathan Milstein in Europe, and subsequently won the top prize in a number of major American competitions, including the Concert Artists Guild Competition in New York. He has also received international recognition for his work as a composer. He is Professor of Violin and Chamber Music at the New School Universitys Mannes College of Music in New York.
