Zana was born on September 13, 1983 in Mitrovica, Kosovo. She studied solo singing at the University of Pristina in the class of Prof. Merita Juniku. She then completed her master’s degree at the University of Skopje (Prof. Maria Muratovska-Naumovska).
In addition to master classes with soprano Ermonela Jaho and soprano Caroline Merz, she performed at many regional and international festivals and concerts, such as with the Macedonian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, the chamber orchestra “NewBorn” and as a soloist with the string orchestra “Tadenus”, the Manastir Chamber Orchestra and more.
Locally, she has had numerous solo performances, including many recitals: DAM Festival, Chopin Piano Festival, Kosova KamerFest and more. She has performed at: European Summer Music Academy, Soloist with Kosovo Philharmonic Orchestra, GlobalMusic Fest, Kosovo Opera Opening Gala Concert, Etno Fest, where she also received the “Best Singer” award, etc.
She excelled in the role of Gilda in the opera “Rigoletto” – G. Verdi, which she performed at the Opera and Ballet Theater in Tirana and at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, and in December 2019 she performed in the world premiere of “Scanderbeg” – F. Lumani in the leading female role “Fatima”.
