Anna-Kreetta Gribajcevic

Viola

The violist Anna-Kreetta Gribajcevic studied at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, the Music University in Saarbrücken, and the University for Music Hanns Eisler in Berlin. Since 2012, she has been a professor teaching at the Music University in Hamburg. The artist has won awards at the important viola competitions, for example in 1995 at the Viola Competition in Leverkusen and in 1996 in Tampere. As a soloist and chamber music partner, she has been a guest at numerous festivals in Europe and the United States. She gives concerts with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Tapiola Sinfonietta, the Philharmonia Orchestra London, and the Berlin Symphonic Orchestra.

Anna-Kreetta Gribajcevic has been a solo violist in various Finnish orchestras, including the Lahti Symphony Orchestra, the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra. She is the Artistic Director of the Nummi Festival in Finland.
